I wasnt even born when old CA had there gloriest days in eve, so I cant say anything about that more then read old post ßbout it.
And I see that it really upset some people that the name CA is now taken up again. I totaly understand that some people feel this way about it.
This talking about who first started CA( old), who was the best pvp corp in CA(old) have become more IMPORTANT then NEW CA. Because for me this is NEW CA that have nothing to do with OLD CA, oki some old corp are in this NEW CA, but thats it.
I think its just best to let OLD CA be what it was and let NEW CA show and prove what they can do.I write this in total respect for old corp and people who have been in old CA after reading some old war stories about OLD CA .

What has really changed from IMP to "CA"? Not bloody much, just the name. You will still not be able to accomplish anything at all. One of your members posted in the thread that it was every IMP/CA pilots goal to kill as many BoB as possible... Then why did you move to the OTHER side of the map? And when I read the quote that VOTF was the "Bulldozer" of CA that you didnt want in your back yard... I dont think I have ever seen a pure VOTF fleet EVER since I started playing eve, three years ago almost on the date, that managed to do anything other then getting themselves killed. You still have a few good corps in the "new CA." Stronghold comes to mind, but do not kid yourself to thinking that you are the Ram of the siege, because you never were...
Although I was never in CA, I spent the best part of my EVE life fighting them, and I later joined Shinra... I chose what corp to join based on what I saw on the field. And who deserved appraise.
What I remember of VOTF is two things... Zelota for being an absolute nutter and the other thing is your grand invasion of Curse back when we in the five was living there. And what I remember from that is killing you Xirt camping almost alone on the HED-GP 15-20 jumps from Curse.
We dubbed it the grand invasion of Curse (or HED-GP)
Hed-gp != Curse.
So this gets a big giggle and a sigh from me.
